I don't know what the story is with Camp Lackey. Several reports say BSA, several say Riverside YMCA.

It says that the camp was a gift from the Lackeys of Corona, CA, to the Riverside YMCA in 1949 and that maintenance and access problems forced the sale of the camp in 1990. I guess a toilet in your swimming pool will do that to you.

It says nothing about the BSA or fatalities, but I suppose that could have happened post 1990.

That article was from yesterday the 21st, this one is from today the 22nd, at 2pm (right now it's 3:30pm), and according to KESQ TV it's only 20% contained.

I wonder if they had the upper hand yesterday and lost it overnight or something?

One thing to think about is that this fire, being caused by lightning, is just a work of mother nature. It's very sad to see the beautiful trees and rugged terrain up in flames, but at least it wasn't an idiot or arsonist that caused it, just the natural way of things.
