Langley backpack

Howdy All :)

A week ago Sunday, Marilyn, Cameron, Kalen and I started on a three day backpack trip to summit Langley. The smoke on 395 from the various fires obscured the normally gorgeous views as we drove to Lone Pine on Saturday.

Enjoyed a fabulous lunch at the Oklahoma Hills Café in Lone Pine before heading home. I also highly recommend the Merry Go Round for Chinese food (Marilyn and I ate there Saturday night).

Miles of smiles,
Ellen

Great photos, thanks! Can't figure out why a group of tough-as-rocks leave-no-peaks-behind peakbaggers like you guys did not pick up Cirque before you headed back down New Army Pass. And what load of contraband is Marilyn carrying in that humongus pack?

Yes, awesome shots of such a beautiful place! Thanks for the post Ellen. :) I agree, Ed, I think she's got a microwave oven in there...
