Found this list useful for planning future trips. (from the Desert Sun Newspaper)

Hiking trails listed under the Riverside County general plan in the Coachella Valley trail system are as follows:
The Colorado River Trail, Mesa Trail, Joshua Tree Trail, Painted Canyon Trail, Hidden Springs Trail, Box Canyon Trail, Coyote Canyon Trail, Cutca Truck Trail, Aguanga Trail, Tule Creek Trail, Martinez Canyon Trail. Also, Santa Rosa Mountain Trail, Rock House Creek Trail, Agua Alta Canyon Trail, Cactus Springs Trail, Fish Traps Trail, White Water Wash Trail, Pipeline Trail, All American Canal Trail, Pushawalla Road and Trail, Berdoo Canyon Road and Trail, Lost Horse Trail, Cottonwood Mountains Trail. Also, Dillon Road Extension Trail, Rockhouse Canyon Trail, Mecca Hills Trail, Drocopia Trail, Stonehouse Canyon Trail, Marble Spring Trail, Silver Rabbit Mine Trail, and 82nd Street Trail.

Included are the Desert Rider’s network of Shannon Trail, Araby Trail, Eagle Canyon Trail, Andreas Trail and North Fork, Andreas Trail and South Fork, Murray Canyon Trail, Pelton Trail, West Fork Palm Canyon Trail, Palm Canyon Trail, Indian Potrero Trail. Also, East Side Trail, Wildhorse Trail, Fern Canyon Trail, Vandeventer Trail, East Fork Trail, Rock Canyon Trail, Wellman Spring Trail, Asbestos Mine Trail, Charlie Canyon Trail, Dead Indian Canyon Trail, Cariso Creek Hiking Trail, Little Pinyon Flat Trail, Devil Canyon Trail. Also, Bear Creek Trail, Magnesia Canyon Trail, Cat Creek Trail, Ebbens Creek Trail, Hidden Valley Trail, Montezuma Trail and Lewis Ranch Trail.

Trails in the San Bernardino National Forest included in the general plan are San Jacinto Peak Trail, Tamarak Trail, Round Valley Trail, Long Valley Trail, Wellman Cienega Trail, Willow Creek Trail, Caramba Trail, Devil’s Slide Trail, Andras Trail South Fork. Also, Apple Canyon Trail, Spitler Trail, May Valley Trail, Willow Trail, Thomas Mountain Trail, Ramona Trail, Baldy Mountain Trail, Goff Flat Trail, Pipe Creek Trail, Penrod Canyon Trail, Live Oak Canyon Trail, Desert Divide Trail, Bull Canyon Trail. Also, Cedar Spring Trail, Eagle Spring Trail, Blodgett Flat Trail, Bear Trap Canyon Trail, Deer Spring, Mountain Center South Fork Trail, Hixon Trail, Red Mountain Trail, Webster Trail, Indian Canyon, Cinco Posses Trail. Also, Black Mountain Trail, South Ridge Trail, Florida-Bau-tiste Road Trail, Garner Valley Trail, Cottonwood Road Trail, Rouse Ridge Truck Trail, Marion Mountain Trail, Seven Pines Trail, AUesandro Trail, Cahuilla Trail, and State Riding and Hiking Trail.

Five trails in the Palm Springs area are the Tahquitz Wash Trail, Palm Canyon Wash Trail, Sunrise Way Trail, El Cielo Road Trail, and West Side Trail.

...sorta nice to see that 'Skyline' appears to be off the County's radar.
