Sally, you just shot a sparrow straight into my funny bone. I have to say you've really terned the corner on your jokes.

Sally, to be honest, and I hope you don't mind my condor, you're my kind of gull. There! I've said it; it's out in the open. I don't egret saying it. Sheesh, what's wren with me? Here I am practically pigeon woo. I must be stork raving mad! Or at least I'm none too swift. I mean at my age, behaving like a tanager! Perhaps got two shrikes against me? Or is it just that I'm Aukward?

Well, it's been really pheasant talking with you, but I'm kind of in a thrush here, so I'macaw you later,

HJ

P.S. Tell you what though, hikes like this'll really put heron your chest.

Our Ellen, you'll gnatcatcher passing up an opportunity to provoke a pun from you, HJ! I find it hard to swallow that we can't come up with some more. Well, I'd better stop all this raven and go to bed.

Oh, dear. I hope this whole thread hasn't been a grebious mistake. I mean we've taken a perfectly good thread and raptor all up in puns. Too many puns, and people will start to grouse about it. I hope people realize it's all just a lark. My cardinal rule is not to tell too many puns! Any time I tell too many, I ask myself, whydah heck did you tell that one? So, if I start telling to many, feel free to just say "ne, ne, no more!"
