Palm Springs Aerial Tramway Closing for Maintenance

The Tramway will be closed for annual maintenance from September 11 through September 29 with a tentative re-opening date of September 30, 2017. If you are planning on hiking up remember there will be NO Trams down, you will need to hike to Idyllwild

Due to maintenance delays, opening of the PS Aerial Tram has been rescheduled to Monday, Oct. 2.

Folks have already planned for the 28th for the GTG, not fair to to change to try to facilitate for my benefit--which it wouldn't, on the 29th anyway.
I'm trying to switch my work shift, but so far not likely.
