Thanks Everyone - friend and I hiked Snow Creek Trail to San Jacinto (S2S)) yesterday, it was a GREAT HIKE and WEATHER.

Summary:
Start Time......= 3:30am
Finish Time.....= 5:30am
Total Distance..= 29.6 Miles

The first 2-3 miles weather felt bit warm but windy as we expected. We saw snake (wasn't rattler), couple tarantulas, and scorpion), how cool is that :).

We arrived Fuller Ridge TH at 10:30am, distance 16.6-miles. We took 30 minutes break, eat lunch and refilled water bladder (couple weeks prior to hike, stashed extra water and Powerade at the Fuller Ridge trail-head so we could pack lighter)

We noticed there weren't many hikers on FRT, however, Deer Springs to Summit, a lot of hikers ascending and descending. It is very impressive to see that many hikers.

2:50pm - We arrived SJ summit, distance 24.2-miles.
3:30pm - Start heading down to tram-station
5:30pm - we arrived tram station

*** There is a water on Fuller Ridge Trail, it is about 1.6 miles before reaching Deer Springs Trail. I believe this stream is same as the one on Deer Springs Trail...

Getting antsy as I approach my first hike of the season in the San Jacintos! Doing this hike this Friday, Veteran's Day. I am heading up from Snow Creek Village, boots down at 2:30am. I know its early, but myself and a couple of co-workers want a more relaxed pace. This will be my 2nd time to do the full hike to the tram station on this route, and I have done multiple out and backs from Snow Creek up to Black Mountain Truck Trail in the past. I am of course familiar with the route, but curious if anyone has been on the desert slope portion below tree line recently, and could state the current brush conditions. I prefer wearing shorts, but don't take a liking to a slicing!

Look's like great weather, obviously snow/ice free this time, and probably no need for extra layers at the summit.
